SCENT-SATIONAL SALAD DRESSING
Our go-to everyday salad dressing is a balsamic vinaigrette and our family simply loves it! We do sometimes use fresh herbs to make this but it’s great to be able to use dried herbs at a moment’s notice. |
Add one heaping tablespoon of Scent-sational Salad Seasoning to 1/2 cup balsamic vinegar, 1 cup of extra virgin olive oil and 2 teaspoons of Dijon mustard.
Shake well in a pint mason jar and serve. The dressing keeps well in the fridge for up to 6 months, but seriously it never sees more than a couple of weeks in our fridge! |
SOUP SEASONING IDEAS
Chicken soup has a reputation as a comfort food -- reminiscent of simple, yet elegant, homemade cooking. Chicken soup prepared well and with finesse has a flavor profile redolent of fresh chicken, aromatic vegetables and floral herbs that contribute depth of flavor when used judiciously and with precision. Our classic herb combination used in chicken soup consists of thyme, basil, rosemary, parsley, and marjoram and can be the perfect addition to any soup base. |
